Talking to Adults About Talking To Kids About Adoption (for adoptive families and families-to-be)
Union Temple

What do kids know about adoption? What do they think they know? Practical advice on how to answer tough questions, including when to start using the “A” word, what to do with birth information you have/don’t have and preparing your child to answer questions from others. Then keep the conversation going, by learning how to introduce more information about adoption and your child’s background, keep lines of communication open and help them answer questions from others.

Presenter: Dina Rosenfeld, DSW is the Community Educator for the Ametz Adoption Program of the Jewish Child Care Association, who has worked in the field of adoption for over 25 years.
