Services for College Students
Career Testing For the purpose of assessing skills, interests and personality to help students identify strengths, potential college majors and/or career pursuits. Participants meet with one of our counselors at least three times and get written and verbal feedback. Based on the identified skills and abilities, there is also the possibility of being connected with paid internships. The fee for the Career Testing Package is $400. Bridges A comprehensive support program for college-aged students on the Autism - Asperger’s spectrum as well as those with other non-verbal learning disorders. Bridges offers individual, group and family support services that include academic, social, vocational, independent living, and recreational activities at on campus offices located at Adelphi University, CW Post and Nassau Community College. Support services are also provided regularly at Queensboro Community College, New York Institute of Technology, Dowling College, and JCC's on Long Island and in Queens.
