Pleasantville Cottage School (Westchester)

SOCIAL WORKER (LMSW) Responsible for helping emotionally disturbed children meet their social expectations appropriate to their age and developmental level. Visit families in their homes in accordance with case need, agency policy and governmental regulations. Work with multi-disciplinary team in a long term residential treatment setting. Provide concrete services to children and families in accordance to treatment plan. Travel to outside agencies and schools when necessary in consultation with case supervisor. Must have good organizational, interpersonal, and writing skills. Ability to engage families in collaborative treatment planning. Current driver's license required. Bilingual English/Spanish helpful. Minimum 2 years prior experience working in children/family service setting.

Group Homes (Brooklyn/Queens)

SOCIAL WORKER (MSW) Responsible for providing treatment and case planning for children with emotional problems who require residential treatment and for their families in accordance with Agency policy and governmental regulations. Provide case management including treatment for youth and their families in accordance with Service Plan and JCCA Independent Living curriculum. Collaborate with team members to generate individualized case management, treatment, and discharge plans.  Prepare written service plans in cooperation with each client. Present psychosocial assessment, and child/family current significant clinical issues at weekly team meeting and semi-annual and quarterly service plan reviews. Must have MSW and a minimum 2 years post-bachelors experience with adolescents in mental health/foster care. Solid organizational and follow-up skills. Computer Literacy (specifically Microsoft Word, Excel). Excellent telephone interpersonal writing skills and ability to work with a variety of different people. Counseling and crisis intervention skills required Bilingual/Spanish, helpful.

Pleasantville Diagnostic Center (Westchester)

PSYCHIATRIST (MD) Assume medical-psychiatric responsibility for evaluation and recommending treatment plans for children.  Work in consultation with staff providing psychiatric input in designing evaluation, intervention, treatment and placement plans. NYS license to practice medicine required.  Must be Eligible for Board Certification in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.  Board eligibility in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry preferred.  Experience working in pediatrics or adolescent medicine required.

Bridges to Health Per Diem (Bronx/Brooklyn) We are currently hiring Per -Diem workers for the Bridge to Health (B2H) Waiver Service Provider program. JCCA is looking for experienced and dedicated individuals in the Bronx and in Brooklyn who can provide a variety of services in the home and community for foster care children. Looking for High School Diploma, Bachelor level, RNs & LPNs and Master level candidates with appropriate work experience. Positions and hourly wages are based on educational background and experience. Hours are flexible, including weekends and evenings and it includes paid trainings. Bilingual Spanish is preferred. Must have ability to work with a variety of different people and have excellent writing skills.
