Hannah Scholnick, LMSW
I am a licensed therapist who work with individuals and groups. I enjoy working with young people who struggle with anxiety, relational challenges, life transitions and low self-esteem. I have experience working with folks who have experienced trauma and depression. I’m passionate about helping folks get in touch with their emotions and providing a safe space to explore your goals. I believe that therapy is meant to be collaborative, I’m here to assist you and work with you.
I am trauma informed and trained in a few different modalities including EMDR and trauma focused CBT. In addition, I incorporate a variety of other techniques depending on the client’s needs and what they are looking for. These include: mindfulness-based techniques, somatic interventions, and art therapy. I also apply an anti-oppressive lens to my work as this is needed to create a warm, safe environment for clients. As a queer clinician, I am also excited to continue working with folks within the community.
