Brooklyn Families Together

JCCA’s Brooklyn Families Together is a home-based, short-term (12-14 weeks) treatment program for troubled youth, ages 11-17, with severe behavioral problems. It uses the evidence-based Functional Family Therapy (FFT) model to support, strengthen and empower families in order to prevent out-of-home therapeutic placement. The program works with high-risk youth and their families, addressing problems such as absconding, truancy, suicidal and/or homicidal ideation, depression and extreme aggression.

  • Psycho-education around cognitive and behavioral issues
  • Linkages to long-term programs after consultation with our clinical team
  • Parent advocacy
