As part of our commitment to celebrating and acknowledging Social Workers during Social Work Month, we want to honor Kym Mayo for an incredible 25 years of dedication to the children and families of New York City and the JCCA community.
Kym’s work has never been about recognition—it’s been about impact. From supporting youth through difficult moments to guiding families toward stability, her compassion and leadership have touched countless lives in ways that often go unseen, but are always deeply felt.
Her legacy is not only in the lives she’s changed, but also in the people she’s mentored along the way. Through sharing her knowledge, experience, and care, she has helped shape the next generation of leaders and strengthened JCCA as a whole.
