Julianne Cohn Metzger

Julianne Cohn Metzger is an attorney with a career-long focus on child welfare and family law. She has held multiple roles at the New York City Administration for Children’s Services, currently serves as an Attorney for the Child in Westchester County Family Court, and was for almost ten years, Associate Director of the Child and Family Legal Services Unit at JCCA. Throughout her career, she has represented children and agencies in Family Court and contributed to the development of child welfare policy, giving her deep expertise in foster care and family services as well understanding of the staff and families served by JCCA.


Ms. Metzger serves on the Board of the Horace Greeley Scholarship Fund, and she and her family have volunteered in various capacities with Pleasantville Cottage School programs for more than fifteen years. She holds a BA in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and a JD from Fordham University School of Law.
