Stephanie J. Spiegel
Stephanie Spiegel began her relationship with JCCA as a volunteer on JCCA’s Pleasantville Cottage Campus. She has established and attended eight “lunch bunch” groups of women that meet with residents once a month. She also has co-chaired our annual “A Tree Grows in Pleasantville” benefit. She and her family have also mentored a Pleasantville Cottage School child.
Ms. Spiegel joined JCCA’s Board of Trustees in 2010. She was chair of the campus Volunteer Steering Committee and has served on the Foster Home and Residential Services Committee of JCCA’s Board of Trustees. She has been a Board member of Temple Beth El and former co-chair of the Tikkun Olam council. She has also been an Education and Expansion Chair, and Area and Divisional Chair of UJA-Federation. With her temple, Beth El of Northern Westchester, Ms. Spiegel helps organize a holiday party each year and chairs the temple’s Mitzvah Day project, which includes gardening, softball, and lunch for the residents. Her husband, Lee, and her children, Ben, Michelle, and Andrew have all volunteered on the campus, as has her mother, Elaine. Ms. Spiegel lives in Chappaqua, only seven minutes from JCCA’s campus.
