Stanley F. Barshay
Stanley Barshay is Chairman, Consumer Health Care for Schering-Plough Corporation, a global health care company. Mr. Barshay has had a strong connection to JCCA for most of his life. He was a resident on the Pleasantville Cottage Campus between the ages of 7 and 11, and has been a Trustee since 1998. JCCA was there for him as a child, so he feels it is a privilege to be able to give something back as an adult. Mr. Barshay was the honoree at JCCA’s Celebration of Hope Gala in 2009. He also serves on the Long Island University Board of Trustees and the Council of Overseers of the Arnold and Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy and Health Science. In addition, he is a member of the Board of Directors of Bed Bath and Beyond.
