Kellen Begun’s Mitzvah Project will help JCCA expand recreational opportunities for children living in our Westchester residential cottages by equipping our program with a diverse range of engaging, developmentally supportive recreation items. 

Children in residential foster care have often experienced instability, trauma, and disruptions in schooling. Providing not only safety and care but also stimulating, creative outlets is essential to supporting their healing and growth. Recreation equipment gives young people healthy ways to express themselves, build confidence, strengthen peer relationships, and experience joy.
