Entertainment icon LL Cool J gave an inspiring talk to 100 teenagers today at the Pleasantville Cottage School which serves at-risk and vulnerable youth.
In his speech to the rapt audience, he said, “You may come from a tough life, but you have to believe in yourself. Don’t limit yourself. Dig deep for what you really want and your dreams can come true.”
According to Michael Spindler, Chief Operating Officer of JCCA, “We are delighted that our teens could hear from such a shining role model who values family, education and perseverance. These are lessons we teach every day.”
