Become a Volunteer with JCCA in New York City!

Join our volunteers who offer friendly, individualized attention to children who have been through abuse, neglect and trauma in their young lives. Whether you’re interested in supporting our LEAP (Leadership Education Achievement Pathways) program, Behavioral Health and Wellness Programs, or Family Support Services, there are meaningful ways to get involved. This interaction with the young people we serve makes a profound difference in their lives and the lives of our volunteers.

Requirements and skills

• Deep interest and ability to relate to inner-city young people
• Interest in helping others
• Must go through the orientation and registration process
• Volunteers 18 and older may volunteer alone
• Volunteers under 18 must come with parent supervision
